Looking forward to seeing you guys again sat..... seems like every week you get significantly stronger..... now go get that 800 pull

Now with more " shut up and lift"

Good form.

Man I really feel good about that deadlift this time around Eric. 770 pretty easy 3 weeks out with plenty of rest on the lower back and time to crank that 800 out in the meet. I think its gonna go this time....

and listen f*cker.... go to your local Walgreens and get one of these for $12. You keep them calluses shaved off so they don't rip off and ruin your whole meet. IF that happens on your opener, your second and third attempts are comprimised. I keep mine filed down all the time. Hook it up player:

Putt Houston.... now with Ridiculous BCWW

Thanks everyone and thanks for the info Putt! I will definitely have to try that out. Usually when i deadlift heavy for a few weeks in a row, they will build up on my hands and when i take off a week or two and then go to pull heavy again, one will rip off on my last attempt. My main goal for this meet is to squat over 750lbs in belt & knee wraps and to finally break a 2,000 total. If i feel good after my 2nd attempt deadlift then i will try 804 again, if not then i'm going to pass and try it at my next competition on December 12th which is the RAW meet that Eric Stone is hosting. Thanks again and wish me luck!

First off you are one strong teen nice job. I think you will pull 800. I was wondering have you ever tried pointing your toes slightly out this helps the hips push through better. That is what I did the first time I pulled 800. I was hitting 750-760 and at a meet someone said to point my toes out a little. I did and hit my first 793. I then went on to hit several over 800 pulls with a best of 820. Just something to maybe think about. You look strong enough to pull mid 800s pretty soon . Ken Ufford

Best of Luck to you Eric, Ernie Jr. & Ernie Sr. as well as anyone else that I may have missed. Go kick butt and while you're at it have a good time. :-)

ERIC GOOD LUCK ON SAT,YOUR TRAINING LOOKS GREAT,800 SHOULD GO LIKE BUTTER.PROUDLY SPONSORED BY;WEST CARY BARBELL-ANNA

Hey Eric, Your Deadlift technique is awesome! To keep your callouses from tearing don't skip the heavy deads. If your skin is tearing your connective tissues are tearing as well. You are young now and may not notice but if go light then heavy all the time you are going to tear your back or It-bands eventually. I learned this the hard way, whenever I take time off deads my back feels more irratated when I come back. It takes years and years to build tendons and ligaments. If you don't wan't to pull heavy from the floor all the time do partials and rack pulls just go heavy.
