Tom Schmidt Presses 635 at SSA War for the Sword

On Saturday, 43-year-old Tom Schmidt (242-single) bench pressed 635 pounds at the SSA War for the Sword in Warren, Pennsylvania. Schmidt hit the press on his opener. He then made two unsuccessful attempts with 675 and 700 pounds.

Schmidt ranks second on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings with a 672 pound press.

Tom put the 675 up but just had a dip about a third of the way from the top. Thanks for coming down and lifting Tom. One of the nicest guy's in the sport.

This guy gets older and he keeps getting better even at that age.I guess you can get stronger in your forties,single ply I'm give up.
