2011 WDFPF Single Event Worlds Awarded to U.S.

The 2011 WDFPF Single Event World Championships was awarded to the U.S. at last week's annual federation meeting. The Championships will be held in June in Muskegon, Michigan.

The 2010 ADFPF Single Event Nationals will be held in March at the same location.

The 2010 Powerlifting World Championships are scheduled for The Iontas Centre, Castleblaney, County Mongahan, Ireland and the Single Event Worlds for Russia.

Sounds great! I can't wait. Michigan is not too bad a drive.

Hopefully a lot of european lifters make it out. Often when the powerlifting world championships and the single lift world championships are split between North America and Europe the Europeans will go to the World Championships that is closests to them, and the same with North Americans.

THey didn't annouce the 2011 3 lift World Championships in this article, but I am guessing it will be some where in Europe.

Sounds like I have to get my passport updated!

Just a heads up guys to say that the WDFPF World Champs 2010 will be held in The Iontas Centre, Castleblaney, Co. Mongahan, Ireland.

The venue was changed in the last month or so!!

The Iontas Centre is where the 2008 European Champs were held if anyone remembers them.
