Dustin Hanson Secures Top Ranked Press

20-year-old Dustin Hanson (132) bench pressed 380 pounds in the junior division at last week's WABDL Bench Press and Deadlift World Championships in Reno, Nevada. The press ties Hanson for first on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings. He hit the press on his opener. He then missed two attempts at a new junior WABDL World Record of 386 pounds.

Jonathan Bareng holds the current record at 385 pounds. The junior record is actually is bigger than the men's open record (380 pounds).

Astonishing power for a lifter of that bodyweight..an amazing feat of benching..last attempt was terrific when you stuck it out to the end !! Great work Dustin !

He was planning on opening with 386, but we backed it down last minute. His shirt is extremly loose, After Womack gets it adjusted better, I think 400's right around the corner.Good Job Dustin, I'm proud to be able to lift with you.We wil get it next time.......

They where damn good spotters, especially the guy with the mohawk..
