Tiny Meeker Presses 900 Lbs at WABDL Worlds

Yesterday, Tiny Meeker (308) bench pressed 900 pounds at the WABDL World Championships in Reno, Nevada. The press ranks Meeker second on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings. He missed two attempts with 1,003 pounds.

Mike Womack (shw) will be on the platform today.

The championships began on Tuesday and wrap up tomorrow.

Way To Go Tiny !!! What a great pleasure it was to meet you !! The contest was really cooking with Roger Ryan-Bill Gillespie-Mike Womack-James Crawford--Steve Wong.. and 530 lifters from everywhere...and this great 900 from Tiny really makes this one of the finest gatherings of talent in 2009 !!!

Tiny Meeker hit 832, 900, and was very close to locking 1004 on his third and forth at the wabdl worlds. He weighed 304. Meeker wore a double-ply closed back phenom. He touched very easy and shot straight up to lock-out. Best lifting from Meeker I've ever seen.

Womack couldn't bench 914. Laid on him two times, but on his third he couldn't even hold it. I heard him walking around telling people he couldn't touch. He touched, but it didn't move.

It was very impressive. Tiny handles the 1000+ easily and just missed it at lockout. He will get it sooner or later.
