Junior Eric Head (123) bench pressed 319 pounds raw on Saturday at the APC America’s Cup Powerlifting and Bench Press Championships in Bogart, Georgia. The press moves Head up to second on the Lifter Rankings. He earned the meet's best bencher award for his effort.

At the 1980 Senior Nationals, 123 winner Lamar Gant benched 308

At 1983's Seniors, 123 winner R. Caputo benched 264.

At 1984's Seniors *132* winner Doug Heath benched 319.

Eric Head is a world-class bencher in any era.

thanks for all the comments! I will have my lifts posted on youtube soon. I also recently lifted in the WABDL worlds in Reno. I lifted in the 123 class but I weighted in at 117. My final lift was 413. I set a new elite world record. I recently ordered a new shirt dew to mine being to big so hopefully with in a couple months I will push 500.
