Thanks Sean! Tim Hensley the UPA chair in Michigan has helped all the way also. Tim and I want to bring fun and showman ship back to pro meets. We are trying to bring excitement to powerlifting and make it a show instead of just a meet! John Martin of Fusion Health and Fitness has done a lot of promotions in the past and now to help us make this the Best Show Possible.

Excellent post Sean. I want to publicly thank you for supporting an equipped lifting event. You take a lot of abuse, however, you at the very least promote and pay competitors for your brand of lifting. It's refreshing to see you support the sport in it's entirety regardless of personal opinion.

how much does it cost to watch. admssion fee?

I would have loved to Known this info months ago. I would have definately gone. IF these happen in the future, I will definately go. Please let us know ahead of time. About the girls, money, weight class money breakdown. Its kind of tough to go now that people are mostly schedule dto do world meets months ahead of time. sh%t

The entry form has been up for a little while now on this site. $1000 for first in 3 different weight classes and $500 for second. $10 for tickets for the event and keep the ticket for the after parties at bar Louie and Lucky's.

Thanks Vincent. I appreciate it when I see a contest promoter put in this much time and effort to organize a show with some real entertainment potential. It looks like this competition is gonna be a good time from start to finish.

are there any big names headlining this event

As of right now: Paul Key,Chris Smith,Roger Ryan,Tim Hensley,Tommy Westhoff,Jeff Johnston,Joe Smolinski,Dariyln Dowdy, and still waiting for more entry's to confirm.

Look for Jesse Soule to bench over 700 @ 220.

NOT COOL JEFF!!!

WHATS NOT COOL???

This is going to be a good venue, good food - it would be great to see some support for the efforts of Tim and Jeff and Fusion. I know I don't have the time to pull off a meet of any size, so I appreciate people who take the time and effort. This thanks goes out to all meet directors, state chairs, and National organizers.

I remember a day when all meet directors from different Feds helped in other meets - its all good for PLing.

I hope to see a good turnout, by participants and spectators.

That's a different Jeff I was talking about,I thought it was Jeff Maggot posting on Soule. To set the record straight
Soule couldn't do a 700lb bench in quad ply shirt at 308lbs with his spotters pulling the weight off his chest!!

I bet the young guys Roger Ryan and Joe Smolinski put up huge numbers on sat the 14th...
