Pall Logason is not eligble to win the best lifter award as he is still a junior.

Chris pappilion is gonna be tough to beat he can squat over 800 bench over 600 and pull high sevens his total at nationals was far from his best. If he has a good dayis gonna be troule for all on that list. Good luck chris

Very few lifters can hit 10xs over their own body weight and I guarantee Scott Laymen is the best pound for pound lifter on that list. The only other lifter I can think that is close or over 10xs own body weight is Darren Matsumoto… The big guys are impressive but don’t come close to hitting numbers 10xs their own body weight…Pound for Pound Laymen is the best lifter on that list…

I also think Chris pappillion is the most underestimated lifter on that list he can squat with Bell and out deadlift Bell. He only weights in at 235 and can press well over 600. He has the american record on bench and has pulled 750 with ease. Scott laymen and darren are a tough combo also but I feel chris will be hard to touch if all is clicking in his favor. He does not get the respect he deserves but those who don't know him will learn the hard way. Good Luck chris stay focused.

I think everyone on that list is awsome i respect mark bell and scott smith they are some of my favorite lifters. I really am upset that Charles Baily wont be able to compete I think he is a special lifter. I thought he got robbed at nationals some of his squats were not passed and they looked good to me also scott carwright will not be lifting and he is a great guy with a heart of steel. I respect darren and scott they are two awsome lifters in the same class wich means they will push each other. Keith Mitchell is another great lifter who does not get enough credit. I can't wait to be a part of all this but one thing I know is my boy Ed Koo is still recovering from nationals and he is another bad ass that will not be present but he will be in my thoughts I love his will not to give up even when hurt. Good luck to everybody this will be fun. All I can say is this is gonna be a show.

Ken anderson is the man!!!!!!!!!1

ALEXANDAR KYURCHEV WILL CRUSH'EM ALL !!!

Yea! Yea!

Chris might not win his weight class much less get best lifter. Also Mark bell just better hope he can get his shirt to touch other wise he is gonna bomb out. I would bet against both of them. Scott laymen or Darren will win lance will not get it again at this meet. Thats just my opinion.

Darren is not lifting. He went back to the USAPL... but my money is on Scott to be the best lifter with over 10xs body wieght... to be only 148 and squat 600 is just sick!

Laymen reminds me of tj hoerner a cock strong 148.

Another tidbit of information regarding Scott....he is one of the most thorough and knowledgable referees in the USPF. He is a real asset to our Federation.

"Go Team USA......"

much respect to layman from a fellow 148... i can only dream to get numbers like his some day..,

mark bell wont do it. with all due respect to him. people shall see this if they did some homework and not just vote for who ya know the most.

Layman or scott smith

I think the most under-rated guy in this year's WPF Worlds is Alan Best. He's my training partner. Alan squatted tonight in training 848x2, 903x2, and 942x1. If squats go well he'll go 1003 on a 3rd attempt. Alan will go 655 bench opener, then 705, and finish with 711. His deadlift will start at 722 and finish with 771. I have confidence he can hit these numbers at Worlds. It will be a huge upset for best lifter and win at 125kg if he does. I'm looking forward to the show!

wow, this cracked me up...
