NAPF North American Regional BP Roster

The 4th IPF/NAPF North American Regional Bench Press Championships will take place on October 9 & 10, 2009 at the Copa Cabana Hotel and Resort in Acapulco, Mexico.

Forty lifters from four countries will take part in the competition – The British Virgin Islands, Denmark, Mexico, and the United States of America.

The USA Team consists of IPF world champions and world record holders – Danny Thurman (181), Dennis Cieri (198), Tim Anderson (220) and NAPF gold medalists Clint Poore (242) and Dr. Chris Calvano (275). Newcomer Claudio Lora (MII) rounds the team out.

The NAPF North American Regional Bench Press Championships is the final qualifier for the 2010 Arnold Sports Festival IPF Titan Pro Bench Press Championships.

Currently, Dennis Cieri trails USA lifter Mike Hara by less than 1 Wilks point in the rankings and this will be his last chance to qualify for this year’s Arnold Sports Festival.

Finally, Anton Kraft is looking to set a new IPF Open and Masters World Record and has also set his eyes on eclipsing the highest Wilks score ever recorded in the bench press.
