Xtreme Power Gear Launches

Iron House Gym has partnered with a seamstress of over 30 years to create a new line of powerlifting gear, Xtreme Power Gear (XPG). XPG specializes in custom denim bench shirts. For the last several months they have been testing prototypes. They now have completed their final design and are ready for production.

With Karin Kleins shirts no longer available, XPG saw an opportunity to fill that niche and provide custom denim bench shirts for powerlifters.

XPG has already lined up lifters from Westside Barbell and LexenXtreme as sponsored lifters. Several lifters will debut the shirts at the August SPF Pro-Am in Cincinnati. XPG will sponsor the event and be available during the meet to demo the shirts and take orders.

XPG plans to also expand into making briefs and squat suits in the future.

problem with denim is the lack of technology in the construction of the shirt. Few people are still wearing them. XPG would do better if they added a hybrid shirt... poly chest plate reinforced with denim and put denim on the sleeves/shoulders to pull on so you don't scrape your knuckles putting five guys shirts on come meet day.

The model is my wife, trying to talk her into a "rear" view of the shirt to post. I believe its important to get the full picture of the shirts to our potential customers.

Putt - we are working on a denim-poly hybrid. Hope to have it later summer. Still a lot of guys wearing denim. Now that we can provide a quality, consistent shirt I think that number will grow.

Are those people wearing bench shirts, or is that a denim Snuggie? Maybe the "duggie"? Just giving you guys a hard time, best of luck, XPG!
