This is a KICKASS gym, even though they are fresh in the game, with the leadership of Vargo this power gym will go only to the top! I know Vargo is a hell of a leader and lifter, but I know the 05' injury was suppose to be career ending.

I heard there was a chance he might hit the platform again, has anyone else heard anything?

Yeah, man.Vargo just got married today and I hear THAT might be career ending. As far as hitting the platform, check out the Barbenders website for pics of "The Comeback". He set a WABDL submaster state record. Not sure of the number though.

Rumors rocked the powerlifting world today as paul vargo announced that he was trading strength tdam member paul hilliard(308) to cellis gym for a used squat bar and a box of chalk. Vargo was quoted"we got a great deal here andbesides ed morris is primed for that 308 spot . He was doin doubles with 225 last nite, smoked!" ed "bigfoot" morris stated" im jacked to show my stuff. DONATI CALLS OUT "BUTTERBEAN"-
This weekend should be a clash of the titans as Chris"Butterbean" Clark makes the leap to the 242#class in an attempt to break the state deadlift record of 515 currently held by Carl Donati Jr. Upon hearing of Clarks intentions Donati released this statement "That 515 pull was the pinacle of my career.THe Bean is alegend in deadlifting. It would be an honor to have it taken by him. I say bring it on!" In other news Johnny Combine(220) set a new PR of 302 in the deadlift on Wednsday.

Following the unanimous election of Jerry Capello as the first inductee to the WABDL Hall of Fame, fed President Gus Rethwich announced today that the second inductee would be Ed "Bigfoot" Morris of Sharon, Pa. Ed was nominated out of the "Lifter Offer" category and slid in with a 61% vote(60% needed for induction)
In his stellar career Morris has lifted off for World and State records in 8 weight classes, and multiple federations. Ed is noted for having a keen eye and perfect touch for the liftoff. Upon observing a recent meet in which PA masters lifter Paul Hilliard had a lift redlighted when World Record holder Ryan Celli inexplicably grabbed the bar near lockout of a State record bench attempt, Morris was quoted as saying,"That shit don't happen on my watch". Dates for the HOF induction to be announced.
