Estrada's Gym has been a long time Powerlifting gym in San Luis Obispo. Gene Estrada ran the Central Calif Open Powerlifting Championship for over 20 years. His last meet was in October 2000.
Estrada's Gym is a private key lock gym open 24/7. It has 3 separate rooms. One for leg exercises with 2 platforms for squats using two power racks along with a leg press, leg ext, leg curl, and calf raise. There's also a platform dedicated for deadlifts with a deadlift bar helper to prop the bar to load plates. The middle room has a large variety of machines. The 3rd room has all the competition benches and dumbells up to 180. Upstairs you have cardio bikes and ab boards, a large stretching area along with a changing room. The upstairs room also has on display all the results from the past Central California meets going back to 1978.
