World United Amateur Powerlifting (WUAP)

WUAP LogoThe World United Amateur Powerlifting (WUAP) is a drug tested international federation. The WUAP has eight member countries. One qualifies for WUAP competition through WUAP associated meets. If there is no WUAP associated organization and no amateur national competitions in a given country, another competition from any federation can be used for qualification.

Equipment
Up to 2 ply bench shirts are allowed in polyester or denim. Canvas isn't allowed. No open back shirts but velcro enclosed ones are acceptable. Unlimited ply lifting suits (up to 2 ply in the UAPC) are allowed in polyester, denim or canvas. Multiple ply briefs are allowed. Knee wraps up to 2.5m are acceptable.

OPEN (Senior): 24-39
(A Teenager, Junior or Master can also compete in the Open class.)
MASTER: 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
SUBMASTER: 35-39
JUNIOR: 20-23
TEENAGE: 13-15, 16-17, 18-19
