National Alliance of Powerlifters (NAP)

NAP LogoThe National Alliance of Powerlifters sanction full powerlifting meets as well as single lift meets. The NAP has both raw and equipped divisions.

Drug Testing
All NAP meets are drug tested.

Equipment
In the equiped division, up to 2 ply bench shirts made of polyester or denim are allowed. Velcro closure shirts are okay. Canvas and open backed shirts are not allowed. Single ply lifting suits are allowed. Briefs are acceptable provided they don't go down the legs. Knee wraps up to 2 meters in length may be worn.

TEEN: 12-13, 14-15, 16-19
JUNIOR: 20-24
OPEN (Will compete in all weight and in there age category): 25-34
SUBMASTER: 35-39
MASTER: 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
LAW/FIRE: all weight and age classes
MILITARY: all weight and age classes
DISABLED / SPECIAL OLYMPIANS: all weight and age classes

Membership Fee
$15 for adults and $10 for teens and Special Olympians.
