The American Powerlifting Committee is the U.S. arm of the World United Amateur Powerlifting. The APC was formed in 2003.

Drug Testing
The APC does not drug test.

Equipment
Up to 2 ply bench shirts are allowed in polyester or denim. Canvas isn't allowed. No open back shirts but velcro enclosed ones are acceptable. Unlimited ply lifting suits (up to 2 ply in the UAPC) are allowed in polyester, denim or canvas. Multiple ply briefs are allowed. Knee wraps up to 2.5m are acceptable.

OPEN (Senior): 24-39
(A Teenager, Junior or Master can also compete in the Open class.)
MASTER: 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
SUBMASTER: 33-39
JUNIOR: 20-23
TEENAGE: 13-15, 16-17, 18-19

$30.00 for adults and $15.00 for teenagers.
